David Timmer has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist in practice since 1993.

His background as a school social worker provides him with a unique skillset to effectively guide teens, adults, couples and families struggling with a variety of life challenges. His extensive experience of working with special education students and families allows him to share valuable knowledge and perspective with clients that are facing such hurdles.

David is trained in Systemic Thinking and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing.)

Married nearly 40 years and the father of two adult children, one of whom lives with an intellectual disability, David brings a wealth of personal life experience to his practice. His clients appreciate his empathy and humor, as well as his professional approach in addressing their particular concerns.
